Are you a flexible and enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? A welcoming and supportive Catholic Primary School in Worcester is seeking an experienced PPA Teacher to work 3.5 days per week across Key Stage 2, starting as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. This role is ideal for a confident and adaptable practitioner with strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum. You will provide 3 days of classroom cover and 0.5 day of dedicated planning time each week, delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring continuity of learning across a range of KS2 classes. You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic progress and maintaining the school’s nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum.
  • Plan and prepare lessons for allocated cover sessions.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Support pupil progress and provide feedback in line with school policy.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and senior leaders.
  • Promote pupils’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development.
  • Support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of year groups.
  • A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different classes and learning needs.
