A lovely small Primary School in Worcester is seeking a committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September. This part-time role will involve leading a mixed Year 3/4 class as part of a job share, working Monday to Wednesday. All planning is already in place, allowing the successful Key Stage 2 Teacher to focus on delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and building positive relationships with the class.
This position would suit a qualified teacher with previous Key Stage 2 experience who is confident taking full responsibility for a class and working collaboratively as part of a job-share arrangement. The school offers a welcoming and supportive environment where staff work closely together to provide a positive learning experience for all pupils.
The role will start in September and is initially offered until the October half term, with the potential for the position to continue depending on the needs of the school.
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Leading and teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class from Monday to Wednesday.

Delivering engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons using the school's existing planning.

Taking responsibility for the day-to-day teaching and learning within the class.

Supporting pupils across the KS2 curriculum and ensuring they remain engaged with their learning.

Assessing pupil progress and providing appropriate feedback to support development.

Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.

Building positive relationships with pupils and encouraging confidence and independence.

Working collaboratively with the teacher you are job sharing with to ensure continuity across the week.

Maintaining clear communication with the wider school team and supporting the school's expectations and values.

Taking part in relevant school activities and contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
To be successful in this Key Stage 2 Teacher role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

Experience teaching Year 3 and/or Year 4 would be advantageous.

Confidence leading a class and taking responsibility for pupils' learning.
