Flourish Education is recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Worcester on a full‑time long‑term role which is due to start in September. For the right candidate, an earlier start date during the Summer term may also be considered. Job Role
- Deliver engaging Food & Nutrition lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Prepare students for GCSE Food & Nutrition examinations
- Plan and deliver practical and theory‑based lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement within the classroom
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with departmental staff and the wider school team
Required Skills and Experience
- Food & Nutrition Teacher, Food Technology Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Supply Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching GCSE Food & Nutrition
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
- Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for delivering high‑quality teaching and learning
