Are you hoping to secure flexible working teaching in Wolverhampton? Flourish Education is excited to be recruiting for a PPA Teacher at a GOOD rated two-form entry primary school in Wolverhampton, starting in September, until April 2026. This nurturing school is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to support their students throughout the week, providing a positive and nurturing learning environment.
As a PPA Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and marking students' work in line with the school's policies. You won't be required to plan the lessons yourself, but you will need to deliver them effectively and ensure high expectations of student behaviour. You will also work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to support learning and maintain a positive atmosphere. This role is working 2 days per week, on a long-term basis until April. PPA cover is across EYFS and KS1, with a pre-planned schedule available.
What We're Looking For:
- A proactive, warm, and friendly individual who enjoys working with children.
- Experience in teaching either Early Years or KS1.
- A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required; Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent classroom management and a strong commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment.
- A solid reference from your recent employer or school placement.
- At least 2 references from the past 24 months in an educational setting.
