Flourish Education is recruiting for a creative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a supportive Secondary School in Wolverhampton from October 2026.

This part-time position will run until January 2027, providing an excellent opportunity to deliver practical and engaging lessons while becoming part of a welcoming school environment.

The school is committed to providing students with opportunities to develop their creativity, problem-solving abilities and practical skills.

With a positive approach to teaching and learning, the successful candidate will be supported to deliver high-quality lessons that encourage students to build confidence and achieve their potential.

You will teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, covering a range of practical and theoretical areas depending on your experience and the school's requirements.

This could include materials, resistant materials, textiles, product design, food preparation and nutrition.

This role would suit an experienced DT Teacher or suitably qualified ECT who enjoys delivering practical lessons and can create a safe, well-managed and engaging learning environment.

The position is due to start in October 2026 and will be part-time until January 2027.

  • Design & Technology Teacher, DT Teacher, Food Technology Teacher or Secondary Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Recent experience teaching within a UK Secondary School
  • Strong subject knowledge across relevant DT disciplines
  • Good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • Confident delivering practical lessons and maintaining safe working environments
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for delivering engaging lessons that inspire students

This Design & Technology Teacher position is based in Wolverhampton and is easily commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Bilston, Wednesfield, Telford and surrounding areas.
