Job Role

Full class teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, assessment and marking
Delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Teaching and assessing pupils across Key Stage 1 (KS1)
Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that enables all children to thrive
Using excellent behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning outcomes
Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents as a dedicated Class Teacher

Required Skills and Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working as a Primary Teacher, Year 1 Teacher, Key Stage 1 Teacher or Class Teacher
Strong knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1) with an understanding of progression into Key Stage 2 (KS2)
Ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons
Commitment to maintaining excellent behaviour management
Passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential within a Primary School
Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills

Benefits

£168.80 to £232.57 per day, which equates to £32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
