Do you have a passion for working with young children and hold the relevant qualifications for Early Years? Flourish Education are recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner for a full-time role in West Bromwich, working at a supportive Primary School. This incredible opportunity is long-term, working 8:15 am – 3:15 pm, starting after Easter, until July 2026. This Nursery Practitioner role is full-time, working with their pre‐school group, Children aged 3‐4 years. Previous experience with personal care would be desirable, and the school may consider a part‐time option working 8:15 am – 12:15 pm also.
All candidates are required to have a vast knowledge of Early Years, a minimum of a level 2 Early Years qualification, with suitable Teaching Assistant experience in supporting children with learning and development.
Responsibilities- Supporting children within the preschool room through play‐based learning and structured activities.
- Encouraging development across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Supporting children's independence, routines, and social development.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure children's individual needs are met effectively.
- Previous experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
- A relevant Early Years qualification.
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- A caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Personal care experience is desirable.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and support a positive learning environment.
- Competitive daily rate, from £88.92 to £100 per day.
- Holiday Pay – PAYE candidates accrue 12.07% of their day rate.
