We have opportunities available for both day-to-day supply and long-term placements, giving you the flexibility to choose the type of work that suits you best.
Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply or the consistency of a long-term placement, working as a KS2 Teacher for Flourish Education gives you access to a range of opportunities. With day-to-day supply, there is no requirement to plan lessons or attend staff meetings, allowing you to focus on what you do best – teaching and supporting pupils in the classroom.
The Role:
As a KS2 Teacher, you may be expected to:

Teach across Key Stage 2, including Years 3, 4, 5 and 6

Deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of your pupils

Follow pre-planned lessons when working on day-to-day supply

Plan and prepare lessons for long-term placements where required

Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations

Work alongside Teaching Assistants to create a positive and safe learning environment

Assess and mark pupils' work in line with school expectations

Adapt your teaching to support different abilities and learning needs

Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Contribute positively to the wider school community

- Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 which equates to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience(M1-M6)
- This equates to up to £35,100 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
- Holiday Pay – PAYE candidates accrue this at 12.07% of their day rate

Location:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be offered day-to-day and long-term teaching opportunities across Walsall and the surrounding areas, including Aldridge, Brownhills, Bloxwich, Willenhall, Wednesbury and Darlaston.
The primary schools we work with have excellent transport links, with many also offering onsite parking.
