A welcoming Primary School in Warwick is seeking a confident and experienced Reception Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time basis. This Reception Teacher role is ideal for a practitioner with strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and the confidence to lead a class independently. This position does not require planning, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and supporting children’s development during a crucial stage of their early education.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting children’s learning through a balance of adult-led and play-based activities
  • Observing and assessing pupils’ progress in line with EYFS expectations
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching within Early Years, ideally in Reception
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and assessment
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, organised, and professional approach
  • The ability to deliver high-quality lessons that engage and support all learners
