Job Role

• Full class responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking
• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Prepare pupils for end-of-Key-Stage assessments (SATs)
• Maintain excellent behaviour management and high expectations
• Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 6 Class Teacher and wider KS2 team
• Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress
• Contribute to the wider life of the Primary School

Required Skills and Experience

• Year 6 Teacher / Primary Teacher / KS2 Teacher / Upper KS2 Teacher / Class Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
• Confident teaching UKS2, with experience preparing pupils for SATs highly desirable
• Ability to demonstrate excellent behaviour management
• Experience within a two-form-entry Primary School is beneficial
