Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Year 5/6 Teacher opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Bloxwich in September. This full-time role includes full class responsibilities including planning and marking and would suit a confident Primary Teacher who can deliver engaging upper Key Stage lessons. The school, rated GOOD by Ofsted, is known for its supportive leadership team and positive learning environment. This role is open to experienced teachers only, as the school requires someone ready to step straight into a Class Teacher position.
Job Role
- Take on full Class Teacher responsibilities including planning, delivering and marking lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 2 (KS2), particularly in Year 5 and Year 6
- Monitor pupil progress and prepare pupils effectively for end of year assessments
- Maintain high expectations for learning and demonstrate excellent behaviour management
- Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and support staff within the Primary School
- Contribute to the wider school community as an experienced Primary Teacher
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a Primary Teacher within a UK Primary School
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Experience teaching upper KS2, particularly Year 5 or Year 6
- Proven ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons
- Excellent behaviour management and classroom management skills
- Previous experience working as a Primary Teacher with full classroom responsibilities

- £168.80 to £232.57 per day, which equates to £32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
