SEND Teaching Assistant required for a supportive OFSTED rated Good Primary School in Bloxwich. This is a full-time role working within a well-established mainstream primary Resource/SEN base, supporting mixed-age pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, Autism, ADHD and SEMH, where challenging behaviour can be present. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong behaviour support strategies and excellent SEN leadership, creating a positive and structured environment for both staff and pupils. Starting after half term until Summer, this role offers stability, clear expectations and a genuine work life balance while working closely alongside a dedicated Class Teacher.
JOB ROLE
- Provide support within a mainstream primary Resource/SEN base for mixed-age pupils
- Work with pupils with ASD, Autism, ADHD and SEMH, including those with challenging behaviour
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support aligned to the National Curriculum
- Support learning across EYFS, Reception, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Work closely with the Class Teacher and inclusion staff to meet individual needs
- Act as a proactive TA contributing to a calm, safe and engaging learning environment
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous UK school experience is essential
- Experience working within a Primary School setting
- Confident supporting SEND and managing challenging behaviour
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Experience supporting the National Curriculum
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (Level 3 preferred)
- Experience working as a TA, Learning Support Assistant or SEND Teaching Assistant

- £88.92 to £106.93 per day, which equates to £17,339.40 to £20,851.36 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
