Are you a flexible and enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding full-time opportunity? A friendly and supportive Primary School in Walsall is seeking an experienced Supply Teacher to work 5 days a week across EYFS and Key Stage 1, starting as soon as possible until the end of the year. This Supply Teacher role is perfect for a confident and adaptable practitioner with strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1 curriculum. All planning is provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. Working across EYFS and KS1, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ early development and building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the EYFS framework and Key Stage 1 national curriculum.
  • Following and adapting pre-planned work to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Supporting pupil progress and providing feedback in line with school policy.
  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and senior leaders.
  • Promoting pupils’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different classes and learning needs.
