We are currently looking for a Year 3/4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Walsall, supporting pupils within Lower Key Stage 2. The Role
As a Year 3/4 Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Teach within Year 3 and/or Year 4
- Deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons
- Follow pre-planned lessons when working on a day-to-day supply basis
- Plan and prepare lessons for long-term placements where required
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations
- Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning needs
- Work alongside Teaching Assistants to create a positive and safe learning environment
- Mark and assess pupils' work in line with school expectations
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
To be considered for this Year 3/4 Teacher role, you will need:
- Recent experience teaching Year 3 and/or Year 4
- Experience working within Key Stage 2
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs with relevant KS2 experience are encouraged to apply
- A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
- A strong school reference from your recent employer

- Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 which equates to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience(M1-M6)
- This equates to up to £35,100 per annum, based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
