Are you a creative and adaptable Early Years Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Flourish Education are delighted to be recruiting a full-time Early Years Teacher for a welcoming Primary School based in Bloxwich. This role is starting in September and will continue until the end of the academic year. This position is perfect for an enthusiastic and nurturing practitioner who can create an engaging, play-based learning environment within the EYFS framework.

The school is seeking a teacher who is confident in planning and assessment, and who can provide a stimulating classroom experience that supports children’s early development. This full-time Early Years teaching role will be working 5 days per week, with full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking. You will be expected to take full responsibility for the teaching and learning of the Reception class, including planning, preparing and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum. You will track progress, complete observations, and support children’s academic, social and emotional development.

Responsibilities
  • Taking full responsibility for a reception class, including planning, teaching, assessment and phonics interventions.
  • Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years curriculum.
  • Using assessment data effectively to inform planning, identify gaps, and maximise pupil progress.
  • Providing targeted intervention and support for phonics.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to support pupils in their final school term.
Required Skills and Experience
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching within EYFS, Reception or KS1.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early learning goals.
  • The ability to create a stimulating, inclusive and language-rich environment.
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills appropriate to Early Years.
  • Experience with planning, observations, assessment and marking.
  • The ability to work effectively alongside Teaching Assistants and the wider Early Years team.
  • A nurturing and patient approach to supporting young learners.
  • A DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months.
  • A minimum of two excellent references.

  • A competitive salary of up to £232.57 per day, equating to £43,351 based on working 5 days a week for the full school year (M1–M6 Paid to scale).
