Flourish Education is recruiting for a dedicated Business Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary School in Wednesbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a supportive school community and help students develop their understanding of Business and how it connects to the wider world.

You will work alongside a committed teaching team and play an important role in delivering engaging and purposeful Business lessons.
The successful Business Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4, taking responsibility for planning, delivery, assessment and marking.
This position would suit an experienced Business Teacher or an ECT looking to develop their teaching within a supportive Secondary School.
This Business Teacher role is due to start in September 2026 and will provide maternity cover for the full academic year.
The Role
- Deliver engaging Business lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and prepare lessons that challenge and support all learners
- Assess and monitor student progress, including marking work
- Adapt teaching to meet different abilities and learning needs
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
- Help students understand the relevance of Business in everyday life
- Build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider life of the Business department and school
- Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Previous experience teaching Business within a UK Secondary School
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- Good understanding of the Business curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Commitment to supporting students to achieve their potential
Benefits of Working with Flourish Education
- £174.71-£240.70 per day, dependent on experience
- Equivalent to £34,068-£46,937 per annum based on five days per week across a full school year, pro rata for this part-time role
