Flourish Education is recruiting an Art Teacher for a temporary role in Tamworth, starting on 1 September 2026 and continuing until 23 December 2026. This Art Teacher role is available three days a week, offering a consistent timetable with regular school hours.

The role is suited to an Art Teacher who can confidently plan and deliver high-quality lessons, supporting pupils to develop their knowledge, skills, and creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for lesson planning alongside teaching and will play an important role in supporting pupils throughout the placement.

Job Role

  • Deliver engaging and effective Art lessons
  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with curriculum requirements
  • Adapt teaching and learning to meet the needs of pupils
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress where required
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Work confidently as an Art Teacher across the three-day working week

  • Art Teacher, Art Specialist, Secondary Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art
  • Strong subject knowledge in Art
  • Experience planning and delivering effective lessons
  • Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality Art lessons that motivate and support pupils
