Are you a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for a part-time role? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Droitwich is seeking a confident and experienced Supply Teacher to work part time across Year 6 and Reception, starting after the February half term and continuing until July, working 2 days per week. This Supply Teacher role is ideal for a versatile teacher who is confident teaching across both Key Stage Two and the Early Years Foundation Stage. Planning is already in place, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining a positive, engaging learning environment.
In the mornings, you will be teaching Year 6, supporting pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school and consolidating key skills. In the afternoons, you will be working within Reception, nurturing early development and supporting pupils in their foundational learning.
As a Supply Teacher in this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in Year 6 and Reception in line with the national curriculum and EYFS framework.
- Following and adapting pre-prepared planning to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress across both phases.
- Creating a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
- Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and development alongside academic progress.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching in either Year 6, Reception, or across primary phases.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
- The ability to adapt confidently between different age groups and learning needs.
