SEN Teaching Assistant roles in Primary School settings are now available in Stroud. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the flexibility to choose the days you work, allowing you to fit shifts around other commitments and maintain a strong work-life balance. This role provides the opportunity to support Class Teachers and pupils across Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), Reception, and EYFS, making a real difference every day. Previous UK school experience is essential, and your contribution will be valued from day one.
Job Role:
- Support Class Teachers in delivering engaging lessons for pupils with additional needs.
- Assist pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions under the guidance of the Class Teacher.
- Help implement National Curriculum activities tailored to individual SEN requirements.
- Support the classroom environment, ensuring pupils’ safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment for all pupils.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, TA, or Class Teacher in UK Primary Schools.
- Knowledge of National Curriculum, Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), Reception, and EYFS.
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications relevant to SEN support.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of pupils and support inclusive learning.
