Flourish Education are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work at a Secondary School in Stratford-Upon-Avon. This role is to start immediately in September and is a full-time position. The client school requires an experienced Cover Supervisor to support in a Secondary School. Requirements will include supporting a pre-planned lesson. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Handing out and overseeing assignments that have been prepared by the regular class teacher.
  • Delivering a positive attitude.
  • Managing classroom dynamics, enforcing the school’s behaviour policies, and ensuring a calm and productive atmosphere.
  • Providing tailored support to pupils.
  • Reporting back to the regular teacher on pupil progress, engagement, and any behavioural issues that arose.
  • Managing behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.

Required Skills and Experience as Cover Supervisor:

  • Degree or similar qualification.
  • Experience working in a Secondary School setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
