As a Year 1Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Maintaining clear records of pupil progress and providing feedback.

To be successful in this Year 1Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
- A strong understanding of phonics and early reading strategies
- Strong classroom management skills and a confident, calm approach.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
