Are you an experienced and nurturing Nursery Teacher looking for a part‑time role starting after the Easter break? A friendly and welcoming Primary School in Stourbridge is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their team from Easter through to the end of the academic year in July. This is a part‑time position, working mornings only, Monday to Wednesday, within the school’s Nursery provision, supporting young children at the start of their educational journey.
In this role, you will support children’s learning through engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the Early Years curriculum. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment, encouraging children’s development across all areas of learning. This role does not require planning responsibilities, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality interactions and support throughout the morning sessions.
This school is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Nursery Teacher who has a strong understanding of early childhood development and a passion for Early Years education.
Responsibilities- Supporting the delivery of engaging, play‑based learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Encouraging children’s communication, social, and physical development.
- Supporting children during structured activities and free play.
- Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observing and supporting children’s progress and development.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency in care and learning.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work mornings only, Monday to Wednesday, from Easter until July.
- Competitive Salary – up to £160 per day.
- Pension Contributions.
- Holiday Pay – for PAYE candidates 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot.
- KCSIE‑compliant safeguarding and prevent duty training inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse.
