This is a full-time HLTA position, covering classes across Early Years, KS1, and KS2, offering valuable experience across all primary age groups. In this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role, you will play an important part in ensuring continuity of learning by leading whole-class sessions in the absence of the class teacher. Responsibilities- Delivering pre-planned lessons across Early Years, KS1, and KS2 in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning environment
- Supporting pupils’ learning and engagement across a variety of subjects
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
- Working closely with teaching staff to ensure consistency and continuity across classes
- Providing feedback on pupil progress and classroom activities
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
- Previous experience covering classes within a primary school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and confidence leading a class
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working across all primary year groups
- A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting learning
- Competitive Salary – £19,500 - £23,400 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

- Holiday Pay – for PAYE candidates 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot
- KCSIE-compliant safeguarding and prevent duty training inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse
