As a Reception Teacher, you will take full class teaching responsibility, including planning, preparation, assessment, and attending staff meetings. The school is looking for someone who can create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where all children can develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Responsibilities- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
- Taking full class teaching responsibility for a Reception class.
- Creating a stimulating, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
- Assessing, tracking, and reporting on children’s progress and development.
- Supporting children’s communication, language, personal, social, and emotional development.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and senior leaders.
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Attending staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community.
- Supporting children’s wellbeing and preparing them for the transition into Key Stage One.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
