We are currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a one-form entry, “GOOD” Ofsted-rated primary school in Telford. This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 3 who has Autism and Behaviour Challenges. The school is seeking a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships, implement behaviour strategies, and provide consistent support tailored to the child’s needs. The position is full-time, starting September 2026 and continuing until December 2026, working Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Have good knowledge and experience of working with SEND, particularly ADHD.
  • Have experience working in nurseries or primary schools as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or have one issued within the last 12 months.
  • Provide a minimum of two excellent references.
  • Have recent UK school experience.
