Are you an experienced and organised School Administrator looking for a full-time role starting immediately? A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Brierley Hill is seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy school office, providing vital administrative and front‑of‑house support while helping to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing attendance procedures, welcoming visitors, and supporting the wider school community.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Wednesday, 8:00am – 4:00pm, and Thursday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:00pm.

As a School Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Signing in visitors and managing front‑of‑house reception duties
  • Providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff
  • Managing pupil attendance records and following up on absences
  • Using Arbor and Eduspot systems effectively to maintain accurate records and communication
  • Supporting the day‑to‑day administration of the school office
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
  • Assisting with general clerical and administrative tasks
  • Ensuring safeguarding and visitor procedures are followed at all times

To be successful in this School Administrator role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working within a school office environment
  • Experience using Arbor and Eduspot systems
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
