Flourish Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 6 class at a one‑form entry primary school based in Rugeley, on a part‑time basis (3 days per week). Our client is seeking to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher to work on a part‑time, long‑term basis starting in September 2026 until April 2027, with the potential to be extended until the end of the academic year.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Plan, assess, and mark students’ work in line with the school’s policies
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons
- Work alongside a Teaching Assistant
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply, as well as experienced teachers. Working hours are Monday to Wednesday, 8:15am – 4:30pm.
Required skills and experience for this Primary Teacher role:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Confidence in leading a classroom
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively with a Teaching Assistant
