Flourish Education are recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a welcoming middle school in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to take on a part-time teaching role, with the majority of the timetable focused on Maths.
The school is looking for a Maths Teacher to work 0.8 from January, with Thursdays off. The role is expected to run for two terms until the summer holidays and would suit a teacher looking for a part-time position in the Redditch area.
The successful Maths Teacher will teach predominantly Maths, alongside a small number of planned lessons in RE, Geography and History. There will also be gaps in the timetable for intervention work.
This Maths Teacher role is due to start in January 2027 and is expected to continue for approximately two terms, until the summer holidays.
Job Role
- Teach Y7 Maths
- Teach Y6 Maths
- Deliver planned Y6 RE, Geography and History lessons
- Deliver intervention during gaps in the timetable
- Work 0.8, with Thursdays off
Required Skills and Experience
- Maths Teacher, Middle School Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Maths ECT or Supply Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths
- Experience teaching Maths
- Ability to teach pupils across Y6 and Y7
- Good classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to supporting pupils' progress and attainment

Location
This Maths Teacher position is based in Redditch, with the school located in the Headless Cross area. The role is also commutable from Feckenham, Astwood Bank, Webheath, Batchley, Oakenshaw and surrounding Redditch areas.
