Are you a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next classroom support role? Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join a supportive First School in Redditch. This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday. This role involves running a small nurture provision within the school, currently supporting three children with additional needs. Our client school require someone highly experienced, with strong behaviour management skills, as the children being supported have specific needs. This position is to start immediately and will run until July 2026.
Key Responsibilities for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role:
- Deliver high-quality lessons and learning support across different year groups
- Provide consistent support within a Year 2 class when not delivering PPA cover
- Promote positive behaviour and create an engaging learning environment
Requirements of a HLTA:
- Proven experience working with SEN children, in a UK Primary School setting
- Minimum Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification/ HLTA qualification
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with pupils
- A DBS on the update service or issued within the last 12 months
- Two strong, recent references that support your experience
