Flourish Education is seeking a talented Food & Nutrition Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Redditch on a full-time temporary basis from September 2026 through to the end of the Autumn term, with the possibility of extending until January 2027. Job Role
- Deliver engaging Food & Nutrition lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Prepare students for GCSE Food & Nutrition examinations
- Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement within the classroom
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with departmental staff and the wider school team
Required Skills and Experience
- Food & Nutrition Teacher, Food Technology Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Supply Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching GCSE Food & Nutrition
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
