In this Early Years Teacher role, you will play a key part in supporting young learners at a crucial stage of their development. You will deliver pre‑planned lessons, create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment, and support children’s early learning across all areas of the EYFS framework. This role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, as well as experienced teachers seeking a more structured and manageable workload. Responsibilities- Delivering pre‑planned lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Observing and assessing pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
- Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff to support pupils
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
- Experience within an Early Years setting (placement experience considered for ECTs)
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Good classroom and behaviour management skills
- A nurturing and patient approach to teaching young children
- A positive and flexible attitude
- Competitive Salary – £25,350 - £31,200 per annum (pro rata) based on working 5 days a week, and previous experience
