Flourish Education is recruiting for a Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Redditch.

  • Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons with a focus on Product Design and Resistant Materials across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Plan and deliver lessons that promote creativity, practical skills, and problem‑solving
  • Follow the National Curriculum and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement within the classroom and workshop environment
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with the experienced DT team to support student outcomes
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community

  • DT Teacher, Design Technology Teacher, Resistant Materials Teacher, Product Design Teacher, Secondary Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Product Design and Resistant Materials
  • Understanding of the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4
  • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Passion for delivering high‑quality lessons that motivate and challenge pupils

  • Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 which equates to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience(M1-M6)
