Flourish Education Recruitment are continually growing and looking for top talent to join our fantastic team. Working within the education sector is challenging and fast-paced but very rewarding. Our people are what make us here at Flourish and we are a hugely supportive, slightly bonkers, friendly, and dedicated team. As part of our growth plans, we’re looking for Recruitment Consultants for both our primary and secondary divisions. Whether you have existing recruitment experience or are brand new to the industry, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
As a Recruitment Consultant you will:
- Deliver a consultative service to our candidates and existing clients, ensuring you are matching the best candidates to the right roles.
- Attract / source new candidates.
- Interview and register new candidates – our candidates work with us repeatedly, so you’ll need to ensure you’re building long lasting relationships with them.
- Proactively develop new schools bringing them on board to further develop your desk.
- Arrange and attend client visits regularly to foster great relationships – A full driver’s licence and car is essential.
- Meet and exceed key business goals as an individual and as part of the team.
No previous recruitment experience is needed, but you will need:
- Full UK driving license (and car) - essential.
- Be comfortable in a client facing role and act professionally.
- Operate ethically and with integrity always – A good recruiter operates ethically and respects the confidentiality of their candidates and clients whilst adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Be driven to succeed – Recruiting can be tough sometimes, you’ll need to be driven, consistent and resilient but it’s also a hugely fulfilling career!
- Have an excellent telephone manner and be comfortable on the phone – we spend a lot of our time on calls with our amazing candidates and clients.
- Be target driven.
- Have a high attention to detail.
- Be confident to ask for help if unsure – we’re a super supportive bunch.

Benefits
- Salary of £26,500 to £32,000 depending on experience with a realistic OTE of £40,000 within your first 18-24 months.
- Our commission is from day 1 (no thresholds) and is uncapped, so the sky is the limit!
- 4.5 day working week but paid for 5 (after probation period).
- 36 days holiday – 3 weeks off in summer holidays.
- Reduced hours during school holidays (8am – 3pm).
- Friday early finish.
