Job Role:
- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 child with complex needs and SEMH.
- Assist with classroom activities under the direction of the Class Teacher.
- Use strategies to support engagement, communication, and emotional regulation.
- Work closely with the SENCO and external professionals.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with the child, staff, and parents.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Experience working with Autism and supporting SEMH needs.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children.
