You will take on full class teacher responsibilities within the school’s pre‑school class, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment, ensuring pupils make strong developmental progress during this important stage of their learning.
Responsibilities- Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and age‑appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observing, assessing, and tracking children’s progress, providing clear feedback to support development.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
- Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant Early Years teaching qualification.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
