Are you a flexible and enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? A friendly and supportive primary school in Nuneaton is seeking an experienced Supply Teacher to work 3 days per week across EYFS and Key Stage 1, starting from after the half‑term break through to the end of the academic year initially. This Supply Teacher role is perfect for a confident and adaptable practitioner with strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1 curriculum. All planning is provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. Working across EYFS and KS1, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ early development and building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the EYFS framework and Key Stage 1 national curriculum.
- Following and adapting pre‑planned work to meet the needs of all learners.
- Supporting pupil progress and providing feedback in line with school policy.
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Working collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and senior leaders.
- Promoting pupils’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
