Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage Two Teacher looking for a full-time role? A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Malvern is seeking a confident Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team full-time from September for the full academic year. This role is ideal for a passionate Year 4 Teacher who can confidently plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support pupils during this important stage of their education. ECTs are welcome to apply and will be well supported by the experienced leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum.
  • Taking full class teaching responsibility for a Year 4 class.
  • Preparing, marking, and assessing pupils’ work in line with school policies.
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress.
  • Creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Attending staff meetings and working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
  • Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and academic development.
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and personal development.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or during teaching placements.
  • A strong understanding of the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply.
