Key Stage 2 Teacher required for short and long term positions to work in Primary Schools across Stroud. This Key Stage 2 Teacher role involves delivering pre planned cover across the primary key stage 2, starting after April half term and continuing until the end of the academic year.
Job Role
- Deliver cover across Key Stage 2 (KS2) using the National Curriculum
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils across different year groups within the Primary School
- Maintain positive behaviour management in line with the schools policies
- Support pupil progress, attainment and engagement in every class
- Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a Key Stage 2 Teacher or Class Teacher within a Primary School
- Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Ability to deliver high quality teaching as a Key Stage 2 Teacher across multiple year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confident covering lessons as a Class Teacher

Location
This position is in Stroud, which is easily commutable from Gloucester, Stonehouse, Nailsworth, Cirencester, Cam and Dursley. The school also offers onsite parking.
