Flourish Education are working with a specialist SEND school in Kidderminster who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from October 2026 until June 2027.
The setting provides specialist education for pupils with additional and complex needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, communication difficulties and behavioural needs. The successful teacher will deliver structured lessons and work as part of a wider specialist team to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
This role would suit a QTS-qualified teacher with previous SEN experience who is confident working with pupils who require additional support with behaviour and emotional regulation.
Job Role:
- Plan and deliver lessons within a specialist SEND environment
- Adapt lessons and resources to individual pupil needs
- Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and complex needs
- Assess and monitor progress
- Implement appropriate behaviour and regulation strategies
- Work closely with specialist Teaching Assistants
- Contribute to EHCP outcomes and individual support plans
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Support pupils in developing independence and confidence
Required Skills and Experience:
- QTS is essential
- Previous teaching experience
- Experience within SEN or specialist education
- Knowledge of SEMH, Autism and ADHD
- Experience supporting challenging behaviour
- Understanding of emotional regulation
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to individual needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
