This History Teacher role offers both full-time and part-time options, giving flexibility while still allowing you to make a real impact across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The successful History Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress and contributing to the wider school community.
Job Role- Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management and implement school policies
- Support students’ learning needs through effective differentiation
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History (ECTs welcome)
- Experience working as a History Teacher in a UK Secondary School
- Strong subject knowledge of History across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience planning and delivering lessons independently
- A positive reference from your most recent employer
- Long-term History Teacher role from May 2026 until the end of the academic year
