Job Overview
Year 4 Teacher required for a full‑time position at a welcoming primary school in Brockworth, starting in September for the full academic year. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, two‑form entry primary school and take on full class teacher responsibilities within Key Stage 2 (KS2). The school provides a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 (KS2) National Curriculum
- Undertaking full class teacher responsibilities, including assessment, marking and reporting
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and pupil progress
- Managing behaviour effectively in line with the Primary School’s policies and procedures
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to support pupil achievement
- Monitoring and assessing pupil attainment to ensure all children reach their potential
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a Year 4 Teacher, Class Teacher or Primary Teacher
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 (KS2) National Curriculum
- Experience undertaking full class teacher responsibilities
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply

- £168.60 to £233.57 per day, equating to £32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on working five days per week for a full school year
