Key Stage 2 Teacher required for a welcoming Primary School in Quedgeley, starting immediately until the end of the academic year. This Key Stage 2 Teacher role offers a supportive environment with a strong focus on work life balance, working Monday and Tuesday only. Job Role

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Take on responsibilities as a Class Teacher, planning and marking where required
  • Support pupils’ learning and development across Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Maintain strong behaviour management in line with the Primary School policies
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to support pupil progress and attainment
  • Follow all safeguarding and school procedures consistently

Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working as a Key Stage 2 Teacher or Class Teacher
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Experience within a Primary School setting
  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils effectively

Our Promise To You

  • £130 to £233.57 per day which equates to £25,350 to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days per week for a full school year

This position is in Quedgeley, which is easily commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Stonehouse and Hardwicke and has excellent transport links from surrounding areas. The school also offers onsite parking.
