Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant looking for a full-time role starting in September? A friendly and supportive Primary School in Malvern is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their Pre-school team from September through to December initially, with the potential for the role to be extended. This is a full-time Nursery Assistant position, working within a nursery setting and supporting young children during an important stage of their early development.
In this Nursery Assistant role, you will work closely with the room leader and wider EYFS team to support learning through play-based activities, both indoors and outdoors. You will help to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. This nursery is looking for a reliable, proactive, and caring Nursery Assistant who has a good understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for supporting young children.
Responsibilities- Supporting children’s learning through play-based and structured activities
- Assisting with indoor and outdoor provision to ensure a safe and engaging environment
- Encouraging creative, sensory, and hands-on learning experiences
- Supporting children’s early communication and social development
- Assisting with daily routines, including snack times and transitions
- Supporting children’s personal care needs in a respectful and nurturing manner
- Working collaboratively with the room leader and wider EYFS team
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and early learning goals
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- A passion for supporting children’s early development
- Competitive Salary – £18,049 - £19,500 per annum (pro rata based on days worked)
