Flourish Education are recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to join a growing, thriving Secondary Grammar School in Alcester. Our partnership school is seeking a supportive and engaging Food-Tech Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging and powerful lessons within a diverse school.

Responsibilities

  • You will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking, parents’ evenings and report writing for KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Plan, prepare, assess and provide marking feedback for students.
  • Participate in parents’ evenings and produce reports for KS3 and KS4.
  • Contribute to a positive classroom culture and maintain high behaviour standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching Food Technology within a Secondary School
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Proven ability with good behaviour management
  • Good commitment to providing a positive classroom culture

Benefits

  • Pay from £168.00-£261.78 per day, equating to £32,916 to £51,048 based on a full school year (5 days per week).
