Flourish Education are recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to join a growing, thriving Secondary Grammar School in Alcester. Our partnership school is seeking a supportive and engaging Food-Tech Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Responsibilities
- You will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking, parents’ evenings and report writing for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Plan, prepare, assess and provide marking feedback for students.
- Participate in parents’ evenings and produce reports for KS3 and KS4.
- Contribute to a positive classroom culture and maintain high behaviour standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching Food Technology within a Secondary School
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Proven ability with good behaviour management
- Good commitment to providing a positive classroom culture
Benefits
- Pay from £168.00-£261.78 per day, equating to £32,916 to £51,048 based on a full school year (5 days per week).
