Deliver engaging Food & Nutrition lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

Prepare students for GCSE Food & Nutrition examinations.

Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement within the classroom.

Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Work collaboratively with departmental staff and the wider school team.

Full-time maternity cover role until March 2027.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Food & Nutrition Teacher, Food Technology Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Supply Teacher.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching GCSE Food & Nutrition.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory lessons.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

This Food & Nutrition Teacher position is based in Stratford-upon-Avon and is easily commutable from Warwick, Leamington Spa, Redditch, Evesham, Alcester, and surrounding areas. The school benefits from excellent transport links across Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands.
