Do you have a passion for working with young children and hold the relevant qualifications for Early Years? Flourish Education are recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner for a full-time role in West Bromwich, working at a supportive Primary School. This incredible opportunity is long-term, working 8:15 am - 3:15 pm, starting after Easter, until July 2026.

This Nursery Practitioner role is full-time, working with their pre-school group, Children aged 3-4 years. Previous experience with personal care would be desirable, and the school may consider part-time option working 8:15 am -12:15 pm also.

All candidates are required to have a vast knowledge of Early Years, a minimum of a level 2 Early Years qualification, with suitable Teaching Assistant experience in supporting children with learning and development.

As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children within the preschool room through play-based learning and structured activities.
  • Encouraging development across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Supporting children’s independence, routines, and social development.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure children’s individual needs are met effectively.

To be successful in this Nursery Practitioner role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
  • A relevant Early Years qualification.
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • A caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
  • Personal care experience is desirable.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and support a positive learning environment.
