We are recruiting for a PPA Teacher to work in a First School based in Evesham. This PPA Teacher role will involve covering a range of classes across the school, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for pupils.
The school is looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and effectively deliver lessons that have been planned by the class teacher. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across different year groups and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment.
This role is part-time, working 3 days per week, and will involve supporting a range of classes across the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre-planned work and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.
Required Skills and Experience for this PPA Teacher Role:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have good curriculum knowledge across the primary age range.
- Have experience teaching within a primary or First School setting.
- Be confident delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups.
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be adaptable and confident working with different classes and age groups.
- Have a DBS registered on the Update Service or one that was issued within the last 12 months.
- Be able to provide a minimum of two excellent references.
- Have recent UK school-based experience.
