English Teacher

This full-time role starts immediately and continues until the summer term. This secondary school are based in Rubery with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, has strong community values and are looking for an English Teacher for their Key Stage 3 and 4 Students.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

• Teach English throughout KS3 and KS4.

• Planning, marking, and assessment required.

• Comply with the school behaviour policy.

• Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans

• Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.

• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

Required skills and experience for the English Teacher role:

• Specialist in English

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities- Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.

• Competitive salary- Day rate of £160 to £240 which equates to £31,200 to £46,800 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
