Maths Graduates to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You could be working with individuals or small groups, supporting pupils who need additional help with Mathematics, delivering GCSE revision sessions or helping pupils develop greater confidence in the subject.
The role offers part-time, flexible and longer-term opportunities , making it particularly suitable for graduates who want to gain school experience without necessarily committing to a full-time position.
There may also be opportunities to work as a Cover Supervisor, giving you the chance to experience different aspects of secondary education and develop your classroom management and communication skills.
The role will involve
- Providing one-to-one Maths support
- Working with small groups of pupils
- Delivering Maths interventions
- Supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Helping pupils prepare for GCSE Maths
- Supporting revision and booster sessions
- Helping pupils catch up with missed learning
- Developing pupils' confidence and engagement in Mathematics
- Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
- Making mathematical concepts easier for pupils to understand
- Working alongside teachers and the wider school team
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Providing whole-class cover where required
- Required Skills and Experience for this Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant role:
- Maths degree or related subject
- Strong mathematical knowledge
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- School experience is desirable
- Experience supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to explain Maths clearly and patiently
- Ability to engage and motivate young people
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable

- Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant, you will receive:
- £92.59 to £100 day rate, which equates to approximately £17,340 to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
