Flourish Education are recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Wolverhampton at an outstanding Ofsted-rated Nursery School. This incredible opportunity is long-term from January, with the opportunity to extend after the holidays. All candidates are required to have a vast knowledge of Early Years, with relevant experience working with children aged 0-5 either in nursery settings or nursery schools. Early years qualifications are required to ensure all relevant training has been completed.

This role is part-time work monday to wednesday at a local nursery school who take pride in their sense of community. They are hoping to add an additional member to their team that fits into the values of the school and can aid the children in their learning and development. Key responsibilities include supporting learning and engaging in creative play, supervising outdoor activities, monitoring meal times and assisting in personal care duties. Hours for this role start from 08:15 and finish at 15:30 each day.

To apply for this role in Early Years you will need the following:

  • A DBS on the update service, or issued within the last 12 months

  • Relevant qualification in Early Years Level 2/3 or equivalent

  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 in a school or nursery setting

  • Understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Good understanding of Early Years learning and training

  • Ability to work well alongside other practitioners and professionals in the classroom

  • A competitive salary of £85 to £100 per day which equates to £16,575 – £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for the full school year and depending on experience.

  • The option of PAYE or Umbrella.

  • Holiday Pay – for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 12.07% of your day rate.

  • Pension Contributions.

  • KCSIE compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse.

  • Refer a Friend bonus scheme.

  • Regular contact throughout the registration process and once you are at work.

  • £100 welcome to the team bonus
